My poor baby...

Bella had what was supposed to be a simple surgery on her eye yesterday. (She is our 5 1/2 year old German Sheperd) The vet thought it was a "cherry eye", but it turns out he was wrong. It is some unidentified mass. He sent it to the University for identification. Could be nothing, could be a cancerous tumor. I am heartbroken. She is my baby and has gotten me through a lot of rough times. No matter how long I am gone, if I go out for hours or just take the trash out, she is soooo happy to see me return! Oh if we could all have such unconditional love. The vet kept her overnight, so she wasn't even home last night for me to tell her it was allright. He said I could get her today, and I can't wait. Please keep her in your thoughts! She is a very important part of my family.

OUCH!

Okay, so this body isn't meant for squatting over and over. Seriously. I helped install chain link fence over the weekend, and it meant a lot of squatting, bending, tightening...etc. Manual labor, which I am not too terribly fond of LOL. Not only that, but did you know that if you smash your face into a steel post with a carraige bolt sticking out of it, the bolt doesn't give way? You pretty much take the full impact on your face. Of course, if I were wearing proper fencing footwear rather than my Tweety Bird sparkly flip-flops maybe I wouldn't have slipped face-first into said post. The things I have to learn the hard way!

weather

I don't know about you, but this weather sure makes my head hurt. And it doesn't need any help, especially since I'm married and I'm raising my 9 year old niece. The good thing is, HALLOWEEN is coming. I know, I'm weird, but I LOVE halloween. Seeing all the kids in their costumes and the creativity of some of them is just awesome. Plus, the leaves will be changing.
